A member, a bride, a family and a society.

One website that talks to them all equally.

Act oneThe brief

In your words

Everything the venue offers in one place. A different feel for each part, still tied back to Bawburgh. Not too corporate and golf clubby. Easy for Hannah to update.

01

Four businesses

The golf club, Norwich Family Golf Centre at Easton, Glen Lodge with its restaurant and rooms, and the weddings. Each gets its own front door, logo and enquiry route.

02

Joined up

BRS Golf, InnStyle and Peter Field's coaching site stay where they are. Nothing is migrated.

03

Clean

Fresh hosting, every old address redirected, and looked after every month.

04

On brand

Your brand guidelines are already written, from your own site. This page is set in them.

Read them ↗

A note on what follows. Everything here was read from your public website on 4 September 2026, from the outside. Where we say we could not find something, that is exactly what we mean: it may well exist somewhere we cannot see, and you will know. None of it is a criticism of anyone who has worked on the site.

The club in numbers

  • 1979Nine holes, laid out by Alan Barnard
  • 27Holes today, across two sites
  • 4Businesses, one family, one company
  • 4Logos drawn. One in use.
  • 343Google reviews, averaging 4.7
  • 5Films on the site. None on the homepage.

Across 649 reviews on three platforms, the thing people mention most is the welcome. That is the club's strongest asset, and the website is the one place it does not come across.

The audit

All four businesses are on the homepage. They share one logo, and only some can be booked online.

BusinessLogo it usesHow it is booked today
Golf club, 18 holesThe group logoBRS Golf
Norwich Family Golf Centre, EastonThe group logoA second BRS login. Coaching on another website, adventure golf on a third.
Glen Lodge, restaurantThe group logo"Book a table" scrolls to a heading, so a table cannot be booked on the site
WeddingsThe group logoA form, and every price published, which is rare and right
Woodlands roomsThe group logoInnStyle, on the page

Four logos have been drawn. The site uses one of them. The other three are on your server, inside a single picture file.

What is hidden

Someone has put a casino advert on your range page. No visitor can see it. Search engines can.

Hidden in the range page, with a link:

Get ready for big wins at Roobet, where innovative games and exciting rewards redefine your gaming experience!

Checked at 15:58 BST on 4 September 2026. Search engines read it as part of your site.

Live today

A hosting company's link on your course page

The courses and range pages both carry a link reading InMotion Hosting, forwarding to a web-hosting sales site.

Earlier this year the accommodation page carried five hidden adult links, and those are now gone. This then appeared on a different page, which suggests the site is being got at more than once rather than a single old incident.

This is the part we would deal with first. The new site is built on fresh hosting, every old address is redirected, and it is looked after every month so it stays clean.

What is buried

Four things about Bawburgh that the website never says about itself.

The friendliest welcome in Norfolk.4.65 out of 5 for staff on GolfPass, your highest score anywhere. The site never quite says it.

Five AA stars, and an AA Breakfast Award. Two badge files on the server, and not much said about either.

Every price, published. Many clubs hide theirs. Worth saying out loud.

Four pages nobody can find.Men's, ladies', veterans' and members' golf, 1,298 words of it on one page alone, published at addresses like /dsfsdfsasd823489432/ that were never renamed. Real writing, addressed to nobody.

Act twoThe proposal

Your brand, already started

Sage and stone. Caslon and Montserrat. Everyone plays here.

Four logos, colour, type, photography and voice, measured from your own site and written up in plain English. Yours whether or not you appoint us.

What we build

Ten front doors, four businesses, one website.

A member, a family, a bride and a couple booking a room want different things from the same address. Each business gets its own pages, logo, photography and enquiry route, and the site still reads as one place.

Your films

Five films, one for each part of the club. The homepage is the one page without one.

The course, the family golf centre, Glen Lodge, the weddings and the rooms each have a film on your own YouTube channel, playing behind the page it belongs to. It is good work and it is barely being used: the homepage, where most people arrive, has a still. On the new site those five films lead every page, cut into the pieces each page needs, before a single new photograph is taken.

Clips

Five films, cut into the pieces each page needs.

A two-minute film is watched once. A six-second silent loop is seen by everyone who lands.

Silent, short, small. Nothing autoplays with sound, nothing slows the page.

The Concierge

Something on every page that answers, and captures what it cannot.

It answers from a knowledge base you control: green fees, membership, society packages, wedding packages, the rooms, range prices, opening times, and the day's course conditions if you post them. Anything it cannot answer becomes an enquiry rather than a lost visitor.

  • Every enquiry lands with a person, not a shared inbox. Golf to one, weddings and rooms to another, the range to a third, and you choose who.
  • It knows which business it is on. A range question on the wedding page is answered as the range.
  • Voice, optionally. The same brain answers the phone when nobody can.
  • Free for your first year, worth £828, then £69 a month.

A real exchange, one of our clubs, August 2026

Is there a dress code? Can I wear jeans?

Denim jeans are not permitted on the course. We kindly ask that you stick to golf attire.

What about white jeans?

Our dress code does not permit denim of any colour, white included.

Do I need to book a table for four this evening? We are staying at the caravan site next door.

Search and AI

When someone asks, be the answer.

You asked whether a golfer who Googles "which club in Norfolk is not on temporary greens" would find you. As things stand we could not find a page that answers it. A bride asks ChatGPT for wedding venues near Norwich with rooms. A parent asks for somewhere to take two children on a wet Saturday. If the club is not in the answer, it does not exist for that enquiry.

We checked ten pages of bawburgh.com on 4 September 2026. The basics are there, which is better than most clubs. What is missing is the part that answers questions.

The winter-greens page is the cheapest win in this document. You raised it yourself, and the greens are the best-rated thing about the course across every review platform. It is a page worth owning before someone else writes it.

Park and heathland, 6,722 yards, greens praised in every season since 2023. Never on temporaries, you say. Prove it on a page.

Proof, not a mood board

Four clubs, built the same way.

Tehidy Park

A members' club since 1922, heritage first. It runs the Journal described in Act three, so that is a thing we ship rather than promise.

tehidyparkgolfclub.co.uk

Heritage first, and a journal that gets written

Silvermere

The closest parallel. Golf, range, fitting, lessons, a bistro you can book, group days, fishing and a shop, all sold from the homepage.

silvermere-golf.co.uk

Eight things to sell, one homepage

The Players

Three courses, a venue, society days and stay-and-play rooms, a front door and booking route for each.

theplayersgolfclub.com

Three courses, a venue and rooms, each with its own door

Long Ashton

Course, membership, green fees, group golf, the range and lessons, and the clubhouse, each with its own page and its own enquiry route. The heritage led rather than buried.

Every strand, its own way in

Bawburgh has the bigger story. A wedding venue with five-star rooms and a family golf centre with Toptracer, on top of everything those four sell between them.

Delivery

Ten weeks, with dates.

1

Week 1 · Getting to know the place

Half a day across both sites, Hannah in the room.

2

Weeks 2 to 3 · Deciding what it looks like

The homepage and two more pages designed in full, one golf and one Glen Lodge. Nothing built until you sign off.

3

Weeks 4 to 7 · Building it

Staging link from day one. Clips cut in parallel.

4

Week 8 · Filling it, and handing Hannah the keys

Everything loaded. Hannah trained to update it herself.

5

Week 9 · Being found

Every old URL redirected. Each business declared as what it is.

6

Week 10 · Switching over

The old site switched off. Two weeks of daily monitoring.

You said this might not happen this side of Christmas, and that is fine. A decision in the new year puts the site live before the spring society season and the summer wedding enquiries.

Four businesses one logo between them

Every one of these is sold under the same logo today.

The price

£12,500, and every page it buys.

One price for one project. Everything the club sells is on the site the day it opens, so no part of it waits its turn. Below is every page, all thirty-two, so you can count them against your own club rather than take a number on trust. Your site today runs to thirty-seven, so this is a trim rather than an expansion. Some designs are used more than once, because your five Woodlands rooms need one room design and not five, which is why thirty-two pages are drawn from fifteen designs.

What it has to earn

Two weddings. You do thirty a year.

The website is £12,500 plus VAT, £15,000 with the VAT, and includes the AI Concierge free for the first year. Every price below is one you publish today, so this is a count, not a forecast.

One of these, at your published priceYour priceHow many pay for the site
A wedding, lowest package£9,7502, of the thirty a year you do
A society day, 40 players£2,6006
A corporate membership£2,500 + VAT5
A full member, first year£1,7009
A night in the Woodlandsfrom £130116
A weekend green fee£60250

Thirty weddings at the lowest package is £292,500 a year. The site pays for itself if it adds two bookings to that thirty. Pages built around what couples actually search for, a brochure that captures an email, and your prices laid out to compare are how it would try. Care starts at £1,188 a year, less than half of one society day.

We do not have your visitor numbers, so we will not guess them. A baseline is measured before launch, every enquiry is counted by business, and the quarterly report shows what came in against what it cost.

The journal

The journal, and the tool that fills it.

A journal only works if somebody keeps writing it. We write twenty launch articles, so the section is full on the day the site goes live rather than empty, and hand Hannah an article generator loaded with your knowledge base: a one-line brief returns a draft in your tone, which she edits and publishes.

The first six of the twenty

  • Which Norfolk golf clubs stay off temporary greens in winter
  • Golf society days near Norwich: what to expect and what to budget
  • Wedding venues near Norwich with rooms on site
  • Toptracer in Norwich: what it is and what a bay costs
  • Golf for children near Norwich
  • Sunday carvery near Norwich, and how to book

The other fourteen cover the rest: membership, green fees, the two courses, corporate days, Christmas, the rooms, the family day out and the range.

Nothing here is needed for the site to work. Capture holds every enquiry the site captures, by business, so a society that played in 2026 can be sent 2027's prices in one go, and a couple who downloaded the brochure is followed up without anyone remembering to.

Next

Three things, and one of them is ours.

1

Send us the brand files and the sites you liked

The moment they land we build a free homepage mockup of Bawburgh, in your brand, whether or not you appoint us.

2

Put Hannah and the team in front of it

You said you would have to explain what we showed you. Do not. Twenty minutes on a call, with Hannah driving.

3

Say go, when you are ready

Discovery inside seven days of a yes. This side of Christmas or the other, the plan is the same.
